we had homemade pasta thursday instead of our usual homemade pizza thursday.

capturing laces for miss teapot business cards.

cleaning small gourds. foundlings from a fallow garden in new mexico.

 hand cast clasp parts in the works for a large walnut shell.

wet felting process for double sided merino felt squares. 

 i found this today as i was looking up the preserved lemon recipe i love.  2 lovely things of happiness:)and i wanted to share.

lemons are sitting on the counter and never growing up is sitting in me:)yes...still little me on the inside after all these years.

ingredients

3 new ingredients came home with me to my world from the grocery store yesterday.

loving the color of these brown cocoa nibs and their flavor.  so pure.

 large flake coconut is my current favorite snack.

and chia seed...loving the gloopy way it thickens liquids without heating.

all on their way to our stomachs and our emergency kit for that "just in case".

this weekend is the monster truck rally at the fairgrounds nearby.  we drove by today and it is aligning with big trucks etc.. 

i am so not that but...at the same time the noise is grounding and powerful and raw in my rural surroundings.  i love it here in sonoma county ca. and it's simplicity...so close to all that is me and not.

tonight was pizza night as thursday always is.  homemade dough and sauce...and whole foods pork apple sausage and olives were the toppings.  it always changes and is always new:)
"yum" in my world is always the priority!
