finally putting to use my walt disney family museum membership this week and visiting the mary blair exhibit there.  such happiness in her art in the tiniest of details and forms.

so glad to be back at the museum.  so encouraging there.  a little creative pep talk around every corner with encouraging hopeful energy. i forgot how much i needed it to be there.

i was also here this week playing and trying with tiny natural droppings from land and sea.

the fortune:) from my fortune cookie at "hang ah dim sum" in santa rosa, ca.  we finally got to imbibe in this dangling invitation today (a mother's day gift via my son). such a lucky treat. so affordable:) and in the great open windowed space of the old a&w restaurant/drive thru.

thursday pizza night:  garden herb and preserved lemon compound butter, bbq lamb, olives, spring onions, parsley and dollops of french triple cream cheese.  pizza love:) thank you refrigerator for having such awesome resources this time. it was miraculous!

my sister has gone back to home and has left me with wonderful memories of her presence and grace in my world.  pictured is the space enhancer of sweet crystal joy she made for my creative realm.  she labeled it "solemnity". i label it "love".

3 new ingredients came home with me to my world from the grocery store yesterday.

loving the color of these brown cocoa nibs and their flavor.  so pure.

large flake coconut is my current favorite snack.

and chia seed...loving the gloopy way it thickens liquids without heating.

all on their way to our stomachs and our emergency kit for that "just in case".

currently bringing up more questions than answers at this point:)
but inspiring all the same.

loving this getaway. would love to be gumby and walk into this book:)

loving the happiness in all the details here.

this weekend is the monster truck rally at the fairgrounds nearby.  we drove by today and it is aligning with big trucks etc..

i am so not that the same time the noise is grounding and powerful and raw in my rural surroundings.  i love it here in sonoma county ca. and it's close to all that is me and not.

tonight was pizza night as thursday always is.  homemade dough and sauce...and whole foods pork apple sausage and olives were the toppings.  it always changes and is always new:)
"yum" in my world is always the priority!

i love this
