Hooray hooray to new clay!!!! Looking forward to wandering here in this fresh new block of squishy.  The warmth and earth of this color will be moving and planting me in new places this summer.
Anxious to get started this next week and see what unfolds:)

plans

more lace and more earth in my shop soon...my favorite combination:)

and some hand dyed cut velvet finding it's way into acorn pouches.

and more nut boxes with fresh ceramic buttons.

so many buttons means so many nut boxes:)

i know i said less plastic...but the silhouetted details and color of these fronds are truly the shape of my heart.

i have not been crown making in such a long time but i had such an inclining to reach in that direction when i encountered these specimens on my recent travel to Washinton state.

two simple fern crowns upcoming:)

Today i was able to begin to capture photographically what has been in production in my world for the last several months. It was a wonderful foggy morning outdoors for capture!

So many layers in the details of materials and technique but only 11 tiny boxes with message scrolls to show for my many months of work.

I hope to put them in my shop by june but first another brief
shop keeping break for footfalls in emerald landscapes :)

so glad to have captured some art pieces for reference and remembrance at the musee d'orsay.
in color and texture they were all so alive, so graceful.

inspirational views, both inside and out :)

a little village of tiny tombs.  so special in stone structure. all with their own address.  every one so thoughtful and unique. Pere Lachaise in Paris, a gigantic cemetery. Sweet and honoring and not a bit dark.

and there...nature over-takes with tiny gardens in ceramic forms

...and glass windows celebrate ongoing light!

...and the plant world finds celebration among human celebration and we become one :)

unimaginably hot! :)
